Responding paramedics found Enriquez critically injured and transported him to Kern Medical. The victim eventually gave in to his injuries shortly after treatment commenced.
The second motorist went unscathed. Investigators did not immediately establish which of the vehicles had the right of way at the time of the collision. The cause and liability of the traffic wreck remain under investigation by the Bakersfield Police Department.
Some of the leading causes of two-vehicle collisions include impatience, speed, distracted driving, and driving under the influence of alcohol. Most dual-car crashes occur at road intersections, with speed and impatience as the major culprit.
Motorists tend to cross intersections out of turn, failing to yield the right of way to other motorists. Running a red light is also another form of potential accident causative factor due to impatience. This can cause collisions leading to injury or death of one or more of the involved parties.
Innocent victims and their families suffer terrible repercussions from such occurrences. Seeking legal counsel from auto accident attorneys is one way the maimed party can secure recompense for resulting damages.
