After losing control of the truck, it crossed into the northbound lanes and slid off the left shoulder of the road. The truck then slid into a parking lot of an auto parts store where it crashed into a parked utility trailer. The vehicle ended up getting wedged under the trailer.
Police and emergency medical services responded to the scene of the accident. Despite the effort of all involved, Buck was pronounced dead at the scene from the injuries that he sustained in the accident.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office does not suspect that alcohol was a factor in the accident. Weather seems to be the most significant factor in this accident.
The extent of Buck’s injuries have not been released to the public at this time. He was the only occupant in the truck.
This was the first of two unrelated accidents that the Hall County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to within a 12 hour period.
The sheriff’s office is still investigating the accident, and once more information is available regarding the accident, they will release information.
