Garrett Cramp was performing his usual duties at the car wash he works at in Prescott on Monday morning, January 27th. However, as he was ushering a Jeep out of the car wash, the driver, a regular at the car wash accidentally pressed the gas instead of the break.
Cramp had instructed the driver to press on the breaks, but the driver misunderstood him and went careening into a concrete barrier. The car smashed into the concrete barrier and then flipped over into oncoming traffic.

Garrett Cramp Narrowly Escapes Injury in Car Wash Jeep Accident
Garret was extremely lucky to avoid being injured by the runaway jeep. This is not the first time such an accident has occurred. From time to time, drivers make these types of mistakes when they are leaving car washes.
The driver of the Jeep was 76 years old. He only had minor injuries. However, he was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The concrete barrier was damaged in the accident. However, no serious injuries occurred.
The accident could have been much worse. However, the drivers on the other side of the barrier were able to stop in time and thus prevented crashing into the elderly man’s upside-down jeep.
Police conducted an investigated to make sure the man did not intentionally perform this maneuver in an attempt to damage the car wash. The man was not arrested. However, his Jeep sustained a large amount of damage in the accident.
