Three people lost their lives in a two-vehicle collision that left one person severely injured in Fresno County, California. The reports of the car accident released on Tuesday, July 14th, listed Frank Sifuentes, 31, Pedro Gonzalez, 34, and Carlos Gonzalez, 34, as the fatal victims.
The Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner identified the three victims. The accident happened near the county intersection with Rasin City. Sifuentes, Carlos, and Pedro, with the unidentified victim, were traveling together in a PT Cruiser.

The Fresno Police said that Sifuentes was driving the vehicle when it collided with a big rig carrying animal carcasses at about 9:30 p.m. on West Manning and South Cornelia Avenues. The man was heading north on Cornelia, and the bigger vehicle was westbound on Manning.
The collision’s impact caused the big rig to overturn and crush the cruiser, leaving the victims trapped inside. The driver, Pedro, and Carlos succumbed to their injuries at the scene, and the medics took the fourth occupant of the car to the hospital with significant injuries. The truck driver also suffered severe wounds and received treatment.
The police said that they expect the two to make a complete recovery. The cause of the accident remains unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
