The act took the woman directly into the path of a pickup truck, causing a collision. The impact left Elizabeth and Sneed with multiple injuries that led to their deaths. The paramedics at the scene pronounced the two dead.
A second unidentified passenger in the vehicle sustained severe wounds, and the authorities flew the person to a Savannah hospital using Air Evac. The GSP did not release any information on the driver of the truck, or if he or she sustained any wounds.
