A drunk driving attorney would be useful after a man ended up in custody for crashing his car into two other vehicles in Simi Valley, California. Police recorded the bizarre occurrence at night on Tuesday, May 26.
Officers responded to the traffic disruption shortly after 8:30 p.m., on Patricia Avenue, following calls from witnesses reporting a crash and a fire. Police reported that they found at least one vehicle completely aflame on the 1500 block of Patricia.

Investigators gathered that the burning vehicle belonged to Edgardo Lopez, a 21-year-old motorist who was also involved in the crash. The driver was reportedly driving through the west lanes of travel on the roadway when he suddenly went off course. The car he was driving drifted to the side of the road, where it encountered an unoccupied vehicle on the roadside.
Lopez failed to stop his vehicle after this initial collision but continued westbound until he collided with a second car a few feet away. His vehicle immediately caught fire and got disabled. The motorist was able to get himself out of the burning vehicle without incurring severe burns.
First responders transported the motorist to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Tests indicated the accident victim had been driving while intoxicated. They detained him on suspicion of DUI-alcohol/narcotics and booked him into the Ventura County Jail.
Motorists facing DUI charges should endeavor to seek counsel from a drunk driving attorney, and then representation during the legal proceedings.
