A woman whom the authorities took into custody on Wednesday, May 13th, for DUI-related accident in Santa Rosa, California, would need a drunk driving attorney. The police arrested Megan Worrall, 31, of Sebastopol, for causing a head-on collision while driving under the influence.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a tow truck driver who helped the suspect change her tire on Wednesday morning reported to the police that she was drinking. The woman left before the authorities arrived, and drove her 2009 Chevrolet Malibu west of Guerneville Road.

At about 8:55 a.m., Worrall was east of Willowside Road when her vehicle crossed the double yellow lines directly into oncoming traffic. The act took the suspect into the path of a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe going in the opposite direction.
The CHP said that the 37-year-old Forestville man behind the wheels of the second vehicle could do nothing to avoid the head-on collision that ensued. The impact of the crash left Worrall with significant injuries, and the medics took her to the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Tahoe also received treatment for moderate injuries. The authorities said the doctors expect the two motorists to survive. Further investigation revealed that before the crash, the suspect was weaving in and out of traffic.
The authorities arrested Worrall on suspicion of DUI after getting released from the hospital. There is currently no additional information. Those involved in DUI-related collisions should contact a drunk driving attorney for legal advice and representation.
