Boom lifts are relatively safe when using them in construction sites, but as seen in accident reports, fatal incidents sometimes occur. The best way to prevent them is by putting safety first, and following tips given by government regulating agencies.
The tips include keeping a clear base and circumference, hiring trained lift operators, wearing a harness, and maintaining the weight limit at all times. Others are avoiding windy conditions, operating on a ground level, moving the lift correctly, and always avoid climbing or seating on the outer edges.
