The authorities have identified the woman whose life ended about a week ago in an auto-pedestrian accident in Fairfield, California. The Wednesday, May 13th, accident report update revealed that the Solano County Coroner identified the victim as Julieanne Sweeney, 39.
The California Highway Patrol said that the woman passed away from the injuries sustained after a car ran her over on Friday, May 8th. The accident took place at about 5:30 a.m. in the area of Fifth and Idaho streets.

Investigators said that for unknown reasons, Sweeney was lying in the middle of the road, when an oncoming car struck her. The woman sustained extensive injuries that claimed her life at the scene, and the medics pronounced her.
The driver of the car that struck Sweeney — identified as a Fairfield man — stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. The investigation into the accident is ongoing, and there is no additional information at this time.
