An early morning multiple vehicle collision on Thursday, September 24th, that led to a pile-up on the 405 Freeway in Gardena, California, claimed the life of a 19-year-old male. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Cielo Romero Rojas of San Pedro.
According to the California Highway Patrol’s car accident report, the crash, which involved five vehicles, happened around 3:40 a.m. near Normandie Avenue. One of the cars involved ended up on its roof, and the investigators said that Rojas died at the scene.
