Montes kept going south on the avenue when the trailer crossed over from the southbound lanes into the northbound lanes. He applied his brakes to avoid a collision with the trailer. This caused his vehicle to start skidding. The victim eventually struck the left-rear side of the trailer and incurred fatal injuries. There is no further information about the crash available at this time.

Driving at high speed is dangerous and often leads to vehicle collisions, injuries, and death. Drivers must resist the urge to go beyond the speed limits of roads that they use. Patrol officers always watch for drivers that drive at high speed and caution them against doing such.

Accident reports show that some drivers are in the habit of weaving in and out of traffic lanes when driving. This act is dangerous, can cause confusion, and lead to accidents. Drivers must maintain a single lane when driving and notify other drivers when trying to switch into another lane.
