Reports indicated that Ramirez received no injuries in the accident.
Cherokee County has seen plenty of speed-related accidents in the past. The most recent numbers released by the Texas Department of Transportation indicate that in 2018, Cherokee County had a total of 151 speed-related accidents.
Of the 151 reported accidents, there were eight fatalities reported. That number does not include those accidents that had alcohol as an underlying factor.
The accident report released publicly did not describe the weather conditions at the time of the accident. It is possible that, along with speed, other factors could have influenced the behavior of the motorcycle.
There was no mention of drugs or alcohol being a factor, and there is no speculation at this time.
The accident is currently under investigation by law enforcement officials.
