The expertise of auto accident attorneys would be useful for a man arrested in his home in Fresno, California, after a DUI-induced hit-and-run accident on Thursday night, May 7th. The authorities identified the suspect as 36-year-old Benjamin Noble.
The Fresno Police Department said that the man caused the accident while driving under the influence and fled the scene afterward. The crash took place at about 8:30 p.m. on Cedar and Herndon Avenues. Noble, at the time, was driving a white pickup approaching Herndon.

Investigators said the man hit several street signs and a car on the roadway, and kept on driving without stopping to examine the damage caused. An eyewitness saw Noble flee the scene by driving over a median on Cedar Avenue, and followed the suspect home after calling the police.
When officers arrived at the man’s residence, they took him into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit-and-run. The authorities said the female driver of the car Noble struck did not sustain any injury, but there’s no information on the extent of the damage to her vehicle.
The police are still investigating the traffic accident and will provide an update at a later time.
Accidents caused by intoxicated drivers who also flee the scene are not uncommon in California. The state frowns at such behavior, and prosecutors try both offenses as a misdemeanor or felony. A conviction for both when there’s a death or grievous bodily harm is prison time, a fine, and driver’s license suspension.
Those involved in DUI and hit-and-run crashes should hire auto accident attorneys for legal advice and representation.
