At the same time, a semi-truck driven by an unidentified driver approached the intersection. The driver failed to stop in time and crashed into the Toyota, with Parra inside. The impact sent the semi to overturn, and the deceased’s vehicle to spin.
The car was still spinning when another semi-truck driven by an unnamed driver struck it for the second time. Both collisions left the woman with severe wounds that she died from at the scene. One of the semi-trucks caught fire, and the fire department extinguished it.
The accident report also stated that one of the truck drivers sustained unspecified injuries, and the paramedics transported the person to the hospital. So far, the authorities believe that drugs, alcohol, or a combination of both did not contribute to the crash.
The investigation into the accident remains active at the time of this report. Traffic officials have once again advised drivers to obey the stop signs at intersections and drive within a speed limit that allows them to apply the brakes on time.
