The California Highway Patrol revealed that Garness hit the vehicles near the intersection of Niles Street and Mount Vernon Avenue.

He was driving a Honda Civic and apparently taking a stabbing victim to get medical attention when the crash occurred.

That woman’s body was found following the accident. However, police are unsure as to her cause of death. It is not known whether she succumbed to stab wounds or injuries sustained in the crash.

The woman’s name has not been released by the authorities.

Meanwhile, Garness suffered moderate injuries while the driver of the Volvo C70 that was hit received only minor injuries.

It is not known whether the driver of the third car, said to be a Nissan Sentra, sustained any injuries.

That person drove away from the scene following the collision.

Police are carrying out thorough investigations into the activities preceded the crash and how woman in the Honda met her death.

Detectives are treating the death as a homicide while the Highway Patrol is conducting the traffic accident case.

The public may receive more information in subsequent accident reports.

Meanwhile, the victim’s family may opt to contact a car accident lawyer. Depending on what happened on Thursday night, they may have grounds for filing a wrongful death claim.
