Motorcycle accidents occur often. In Texas, hundreds of motorcyclists die in crashes annually.
Unsafe turns, distraction, intoxication, road conditions, vehicle defects and reckless driving are all contributing factors.
Whatever the reason for the crash, motorcyclists are often badly injured because of the lack of protection a motorcycle offers and the size of a bike compared to other vehicles.
Some accident, like the one involving Alejandro Hernandez, are deadly. Bikers usually sustain spinal cord injuries, brain damage, head injuries, bone fractures, internal bleeding, and road rash.
While motorcyclists are sometimes responsible for the injuries they suffer, other parties can be held responsible. If another person’s negligence contributed to a motorcycle accident, that person can be held liable.
Injured people and the families of deceased individuals can take legal action to recover compensation with assistance from a top accident lawyer.
