A man who was found drugged up with his car running in front of a McDonald’s drive-through in Chico, California, would need a drunk driving attorney. Officers with the Chico Police Department arrested Anthony Squiteri, 28, on Monday, April 20th, after police found him sleeping in his car.
The police said that they found the suspect unresponsive with his car engine running at the MacDonald’s located at Mangrove and Palmetto Avenues. Squiteri had a hypodermic needle sticking out of his sweater pocket, and the officers determined he was intoxicated.

A search of the vehicle uncovered 10 grams of meth, over 11 grams of heroin, and 30 Xanax pills. The police then took Squiteri into custody, and further investigation revealed that on Friday, March 27th, the authorities arrested him for DUI.
The suspect ran a red light on that day and struck a patrol vehicle in the process. The police added that the man has a warrant for his arrest in connection to a domestic violence offense that occurred on Tuesday, March 31st.
The officers took Squiteri to an undisclosed jail and charged him with suspicion of DUI, drug possession, and felony domestic violence. The three offenses are frowned at under California law and by the courts. Those convicted of the crime usually do time in state prison.
Additionally, the DUI would mean the suspension of the offender’s driving privileges for a time to be decided by the court. Those arrested on DUI charge should contact a drunk driving attorney for legal advice and representation.
