LONG BEACH, CA – A 23-year-old man was killed in Long Beach on Sunday afternoon after he crashed his motorcycle into a curb, according to local news reports.
Around 5:30 p.m. the victim was riding his 2013 Kawasaki motorcycle north on Pacific Avenue near 32nd Street. He then lost control, struck a curb, and flew off his motorcycle. The rider-less motorcycle then continued down the road before hitting a Ford Mustang.

Police believe speed was a factor in the crash. It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol also played a role.
