The identification of the pedestrians killed in a hit-and-run accident in Atlanta, Georgia, calls for the services of a car injury lawyer. The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office on Wednesday, April 22nd, identified the two as twin brothers Jose Armalo Alvarado-Bonilla and Camillo Alvarado-Bonilla, both 21.

The brothers died after a driver struck them down on the Downtown Connector on the morning of Monday, April 21st. The Atlanta Police Department said that Jose and Camillo were involved in a separate single-vehicle crash on the northbound lanes near Edgewood Avenue.

The twins came down from their vehicle and stepped onto the interstate to access the damage done to their car. The two were assessing the automobile when a passing Ford Explorer struck them and fled the scene.

Police spokesman Officer Steve Avery said that the car that killed Jose and Camillo was nowhere in sight by the time first responders arrived at the scene at about 5 a.m. APD officers working with witness statements and debris from the crash scene located the Ford later that morning.

As reported earlier, they found the car near Interstate 85 and Piedmont Avenue and identified the driver as Jose Manuel Garcia-Trujillo, 25. Avery said that the officers took the suspect into custody, and charged him with vehicular homicide, hit-and-run, and driving without a license.

The driver is currently at Fulton County Jail on a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency hold. He would need a car injury lawyer to face the charges against him at trial.
