LOS ANGELES, CA – A 33-year-old Vany Nuys man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on the 405 Freeway early Sunday morning.
Local news reports the fatal accident happened on northbound 405 Freeway at Mulholland Drive around 2:45 a.m. The deceased driver was identified Monday as Robert Salvati.

Salvati was traveling north on the 405 in a red Nissan Rogue at the time of the crash. CHP reports the Nissan traveled off the freeway, up an embankment, and struck a pole.
It is unclear how fast Salvati was traveling at the time of the crash. Investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
