SANTA CLARITA, CA – An 80-year-old Santa Clarita man was killed after his RV crashed into a river bed on Monday morning.
The fatal crash happened in the roundabout at Jakes Way and Lost Canyon Road around 11:45 a.m., according to local news reports. Local authorities identified the deceased man as Gordon Harry McGuff.

McGuff was traveling in the roundabout in a Bounder RV when it went over the curb. The RV then traveled into the dry Santa Clara river bed and crashed into boulders. McGuff was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
