SAN DIEGO, CA – Two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash on Scripps Ranch Boulevard on Monday morning.
A 16-year-old male driver lost control of the 2006 Toyota Camry he was driving causing the vehicle to veer onto the median and hit a tree, according to Times of San Diego. San Diego police report the accident happened in the 11500 block of Scripps Ranch Boulevard around 6:30 a.m.

The teenage driver sustained serious injuries and a male passenger sustained minor injuries. Local authorities transported the teenage driver to a local hospital for injuries. It is unclear if the injured passenger was treated at the crash scene or transported to a hospital.
