VAN NUYS, CA – A young boy was left alone after the driver fled the scene of an accident in Van Nuys, Fox 11 reports.
The boy was in an SUV that had crashed into a parked car near the intersection of Van Nuys Boulevard and Vanowen Street. The accident occurred around 9:30 p.m.
When police arrived the male driver had fled the scene. Paramedics worked to calm the boy down before releasing him to his mother. The relationship between the boy and the driver has not been reported.
Police are continuing to investigate this incident.
