CHULA VISTA, CA – A collision on I-5 sent a woman to the hospital in Chula Vista on Saturday, local news reports.
The accident was caused when the driver of a Lexus sedan looked down at his phone. By the time his attention returned to the road it was too late for him to avoid rear-ending a Toyota Prius that had slowed down in front of him.
