FRESNO, CA – A woman died in a fire after a car crashed into a building, setting it ablaze, reports ABC 30.
The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of California Ave and Walnut Ave in the Kerman area of Fresno.

Police arrived on the scene after receiving reports of a car crashing into a building. The building was on fire by the time they arrived.
Milicent Epperson, 53, was found inside by the fire department and they removed her from the building. She was taken to a nearby hospital
Fire crews found 53-year-old Milicent Epperson engulfed in flames. They were able to put out the fire and remove her from the building.
Epperson was taken to Community Regional Medical Center. She died on Monday morning.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation at this time.
