Police began pursuing the vehicle in Buena Park around 5 a.m. The driver was traveling on several freeways in the area. Eventually, the pursuit continued onto the 5 Freeway in L.A.

The driver eventually came onto the 91 Freeway in the Anaheim area. Authorities on the scene deployed a spike strip, which caused sparks to fly off the tires.
Eventually, the tires became completely engulfed in flames. The suspect fled on foot and was pursued by law enforcement in residential areas. He was taken into custody around 7 a.m.
