The impact of the collision left the driver with extensive injuries and, Galbraith, his passenger, was ejected. When first responders arrived at the scene, there was nothing they could do for the unresponsive Garcia, and they declared him dead.
Galbraith, on the other hand, was still alive but with severe wounds, and the paramedics transported her to an unnamed hospital. There is currently no update on the woman’s condition. The investigation into what caused the driver to go off his lane remains active, and there’s no additional information.
Motor vehicle accidents rarely end well for those involved, as seen in accident reports. The causes range from factors like speed to manufacturer’s defect or animal sightings on the roadway. Traffic authorities advise drivers to mitigate these factors by obeying traffic rules and regulations.
Additionally, drivers and passengers should always wear a seat belt and avoid activities or distractions that would affect the motorist’s concentration. Never drink and drive, get adequate sleep, and carry out regular maintenance.
