A passenger in a vehicle with a reported drunk driver behind the wheel suffered severe injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Renton on Sunday.
31-year-old Matthew Philips-Kiehn was a passenger in a car that slammed into a fence on Sunday, February 9 in Renton, Washington.

Law enforcement on the scene reported that at approximately 8:24 p.m. local time, Mr. Philips-Kiehn suffered severe injuries in a one-vehicle accident that occurred at South 32nd Street and Talbot Road South in Renton.
The motorist who was reportedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident has been identified as 32-year-old Justin Peil. Local Law enforcement reported that he was also speeding.
Paramedics got to the site of the incident and rushed the victim to a local hospital where he is receiving care for severe injuries, law enforcement confirmed.
