Jonathan and Autumn Klassen sustained severe injuries in a horrific auto-pedestrian accident on Sunday, February 2 in Spokane, Washington.
Law enforcement personnel on the scene reported that at approximately 11:49 p.m. local time, 60-year-old David Bergstrom was behind the wheel of a 2006 All-Terrain Vehicle and hit both of the victims as they were walking on a sidewalk at West Airport Drive and Tower Road, adjacent to Spokane International Airport. The accident occurred while, law enforcement stated, Mr. Bergstrom had been reportedly under the influence of alcohol.

Paramedics promptly got to the scene of the accident and transferred the victims to a local hospital where they are being treated for severe injuries, law enforcement added.
