Medics promptly got to the scene of the accident and transported the victim to a local hospital where he tragically died as a result of his injuries, officials stated.

DEADLY AUTO ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION

Snohomish County officials are probing the fatal accident in which Danny Simpson ran his vehicle over the embankment, causing a crash and leading to critical injuries to the passenger which ultimately cost him his life.

According to the National Safety Council, 15 percent of all automobile accidents are caused by drivers who do not properly yield to other traffic on the roadways.

These kinds of accidents are the second-leading causes of car accident deaths in the United States.

Failure-to-yield crashes are oftentimes the result of an error on the part of the motorist. A driver may be distracted or misunderstand the right of way at an intersection. Often, a motorist fails to observe an oncoming car or misjudges the velocity of an approaching car or truck at an intersection. In this instance, liability on the part of Mr. Osorino seems to be quite clear since he failed to yield the right of way at the intersection.
