Kelley Reid Spencer, 28, was driving a black BMW north on Corbin Ave along with a Mini Cooper driven by an unidentified juvenile male at a high rate of speed.
A chain reaction was caused when the Mini Cooper struck a Kia Optima. The force of the collision pushed the Kia into oncoming traffic where it then slammed into a Volkswagen.
Spencer lost control of his vehicle in the midst of all this and strayed into oncoming traffic where he collided with a Chevy Silverado. The Silverado in turn collided with parked vehicles.
The BMW was disintegrated in the collision and the driver died at the scene.
