FRESNO, CA – According to Your Central Valley, the man who was killed in a previously reported vehicle vs. bicycle collision in central Fresno has been identified by authorities.
The Fresno County Coroner’s office named the victim as 55-year-old Aaron Rivera, of Fresno.

According to the preliminary report, the collision occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of North Cedar Avenue and East Brentwood Avenue.
Rivera was heading east on N Cedar Ave when he crossed into the path of a southbound Toyota Camry.
Investigators say Rivera was struck by the front of the Camry and was ejected onto the car. He suffered severe head injuries and later passed away in the hospital, according to California Highway Patrol officers.
