FRESNO, CA – Authorities have identified the driver who was arrested in a previously reported DUI collision that injured a mother and two children on Sunday night.
The preliminary report stated the accident occurred just before 8 p.m. at the intersection of Belmont Avenue and North Palm Avenue.

According to Your Central Valley, a westbound semi-truck had slowed to turn southbound onto N Palm Ave, causing a trailing black sedan to slow down. Police say an SUV driven by Ray Anthony Pittman crashed into the rear end of the sedan, forcing it to collide with the back of the semi-truck.
A woman and her two 3-year-old children, a twin boy and girl, were rushed to the hospital for treatment. As of Monday, the boy was in critical condition.
