WHITEWATER, CA – Two men were killed in a single-vehicle, rollover crash on I-10 on Friday night.
According to KESQ, the fatal accident happened on eastbound I-10, east of the Whitewater cutoff around 5 p.m. A Kia Forte was traveling in the fast lane around 70 m.p.h. when the driver veered to the right and traveled across several lanes. The Kia hit a dirt embankment and overturned.

Local authorities identified the two male victims as 31-year-old Thomas Dean Blosser, of Desert Hot Springs, and 33-year-old Derrick Sidney Lamb, of Hemet. They were both pronounced dead at the crash scene.
Both men were wearing seat belts. It is unclear who was driving the Kia at the time of the crash.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
