BAKERSFIELD, CA – A 65-year-old motorcyclist was found dead and suspected to be involved in a crash on Westside Parkway on Tuesday morning.
Local authorities responded to the crash scene on eastbound Westside Parkway west of Coffee Road around 7 a.m., according to Bakersfield Now. They found the deceased motorcyclist then and the motorcycle crashed into a chain-link fence.

It appears the crash happened Monday night according to police reports. They are still investigating but suspect speed was a factor in the crash.
The motorcyclists name has not been released but he was identified as a 65-year-old male.
Local authorities report the motorcyclist went through a curve, traveled off the road, struck an embankment, and hit the fence. The motorcyclist was ejected from the motorcycle.
