One of the accident reports from Red Bluff, 117 miles from Sacramento, California, is the survival of a man involved in a near-fatal crash. Trenton Morriseau, 45, sustained severe injuries in the Sunday, April 5th collision.
A report by the California Highway Patrol showed that Morriseau’s vehicle collided with a big rig. The chain of events that led to the accident began at about 8:30 p.m. on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Flores Avenue.

The CHP said that the big rig was traveling southbound on the freeway when it suddenly hit a cow. The impact sent the truck across the center median of the roadway and into the opposite lanes. The vehicle then collided with Morriseau’s car, which was heading north.
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment by paramedics. At the time of this report, the condition he is in is unknown. The big rig driver, who is not named sustained minor injuries, and received treatment.
