A traffic stop saturation patrol is conducted by area law enforcement agencies. These agencies assign additional manpower and squad vehicles for the purpose of catching impaired drivers. They specifically target locations and times that are most vulnerable in order to help reduce the number of drivers under the influence.
The Paso Robles Police Department has officers out full force enforcing traffic stop saturation patrols. These are being funded through a grand that was issued from the California Office of Traffic Safety.
At the time of publishing, Jauregui was still in jail awaiting sentencing. There has been no indication that he has procured legal counsel for his charges.
