Accident reports update from Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas, revealed that the authorities identified the patrol officer who got injured while making a traffic stop. The Texas Department of Public Safety on Monday, May 11th, named the victim as Randall Noe, 45.
The TDPS said that on Saturday night, May 9th, at about 8:30 p.m., on State Highway 94 near Lufkin, the trooper was standing outside his vehicle, conducting a traffic stop. While at it, a Chevrolet pickup, driven by 51-year-old Dale Levy Jr., a resident of the city, struck Noe.

The investigators said that the driver of the pickup tried to reduce his speed, but could not stop in time to avoid the collision. Noe sustained minor injuries, and the paramedics took him to CHI St. Luke’s Hospital, where he received treatment.
The TDPS said that Levy Jr. did not sustain any wound from the accident, and there’s no information on whether the victim would press charges.
