The police said no other vehicle or person was involved in the accident. There is no additional information at the time of this report, and the investigation remains active.
Facts gathered from accident reports shows that most single-vehicle crashes occur as a result of the negligence of a driver. Traffic officials list negligent acts to include driving while impaired, over speeding, texting, eating, or calling behind the wheel, and wrong-way driving.
Other factors like an illegal lane change, tailgating, running red lights, and disobeying stop signs are also considered acts of negligence. Traffic authorities advise drivers to desist from any of these to prevent accidents and save lives.
