Accident reports update from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed the identity of the teenager who died in an accident in Fort Worth, Texas. On Tuesday, May 19th, the examiner disclosed the victim’s name as Destiny Saenz, a 15-year-old resident of the county.
The accident that claimed the young girl’s life happened on Sunday night, May 17th, after she fell from her skateboard. The ME said that Saenz passed away from injuries sustained after a car ran her over on the same street she lived on. They ruled her death an accident.

The police’s preliminary report showed that the fatal auto-pedestrian collision occurred a little before 11 p.m. in the 5700-block of Marin Street in southeast Fort Worth. The driver of the 2003 Dodge Neon that struck Saenz did not see her in time to stop.
The teenager sustained severe wounds, and the first responders pronounced her dead. The authorities did not state if the driver of the Dodge would get cited for the accident. The investigation is ongoing, and there’s no additional information at this time.
