PANORAMA CITY, CA – Authorities say one person is dead and three others were hospitalized following a suspected DUI crash in Panorama City on Sunday.
NBC LA reports that the accident occurred on the 9500 block of North Van Nuys Boulevard around 11:20 p.m.

According to Los Angeles Police Department Officer A. Delatorre, a 25-year old female driver was stopped at a traffic light when her vehicle was rear-ended.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated one motorist using hydraulic tools. Four patients, including both drivers, were rushed to a nearby hospital. Three of the injured motorists had critical injuries.
The 25-year-old woman whose vehicle was struck was later declared deceased at the hospital.
The 19-year-old male driver of the colliding vehicle is expected to be taken into custody for DUI after his release from the hospital.
