An alleged speeding and intoxicated driver crashed into a dental office on Sunday, Feb. 16 in Normal Heights, a San Diego neighborhood. The accident occurred at about 6:25 a.m. on the 3800 block of El Cajon Boulevard.
Police stated that the driver came down El Cajon Boulevard and attempted to negotiate a turn onto 38th Street at an alleged high rate of speed. Instead, the driver drove up the curb and into the side of the building of A+ Family Dentistry. Authorities have identified the driver only as a 21-year-old female.

Paramedics arrived on scene to check for injuries. They checked out the driver and the passenger—both who had been attending a wedding—and did not find serious injuries.
Police arrested the driver for suspicion of driving under the influence, according to news outlets.
