The vehicle crashed into a tree, ejecting the driver, Hrudzko, and a female passenger. The two sustained injuries, and the woman who the authorities identified as Ceanna J. Diller, 20, died from her wounds. The medics pronounced her dead at the scene.
Hrudzko was taken to the hospital, where he received treatment for his wounds. The affidavit attached to the charge against the suspect showed that upon getting questioned, he admitted that he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
The man admitted to drinking four beers before getting behind the wheel, and he claimed that he crashed because he swerved to avoid an animal. Investigators found that Hrudzko’s testimony did not match the evidence they found at the scene.
Crash Scene Investigators determined that the man was traveling at 80 miles per hour in a 35mph zone when he lost control. The officers believe the speed and alcohol are the primary cause of the crash.
Those involved in this kind of accident, either as a victim or an offender should contact a top accident lawyer for legal advice and representation.
