An accident report from the Nacogdoches County area of Texas disclosed that a male teenager lost his life in a fatal two-vehicle crash over the weekend. The Saturday, June 20th, collision killed DyShyken Crockett, 19, of Center, and a member of the Center Roughriders Basketball Team.
The accident report disclosed that the victim was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the collision. Sgt. David Hendry with the Texas Department of Public Safety said that the incident took place shortly after 10 p.m. on State Highway 7.

A driver of a 2002 Ford pickup truck, DaTravis Duncan, 19, of Tenaha was traveling on Farm to Market Road 2713 when he failed to obey a stop sign at the intersection with the highway. He pulled into the path of a 2016 Toyota heading east on SH-7. The second car struck the first, killing Crockett.
A Justice of the Peace from Nacogdoches County pronounced the teenager dead. Duncan and the driver of the Toyota, Timothy Quinn, 26, of Nacogdoches, sustained injuries, and the medics took them to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital for treatment. There is no update on their condition.
The TDPS said that the cause of the crash remains under investigation, and there is no additional information at this time.
