The sergeant said that for unknown reasons, the vehicle went off the roadway and rolled several times. The rollover crash ejected Hart from the car, while Hadnot remained inside. The authorities said the passenger was not wearing a seat belt, while the driver was belted down.
The medics used a land ambulance to take the two to Tyler County hospital in Woodville, where the medical personnel pronounced Hart dead. The driver survived with extensive injuries, and his current condition is unknown.
The TDPS did not state if the investigation into the accident is ongoing, and there’s no additional information.
Single-vehicle crashes occur for several reasons ranging from the carelessness of drivers to factors beyond their control. Traffic officials advise drivers to ensure they drive carefully, obey traffic rules, and regularly maintain their vehicles.
