A little after 1 a.m., Taylor lost control of the Kia and crashed into a parked vehicle on the roadway. The car also struck a telephone pole and a tree. When first responders got to the scene, they found a passenger, identified as an 18-year-old male unresponsive.
The young man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the police will release his identity after notifying the next-of-kin. Taylor, on the other hand, had severe injuries, and the paramedics took him to the hospital for treatment.
The teenage driver was put in the ICU, but there’s no update on his condition. The investigation into the crash remains active.
Teenage drivers are one of the most likely age groups to get into an accident for a lot of reasons. The latter ranges from over speeding, drunk driving, to inexperience. Teenagers should exercise extra caution on the road, and pay rapt attention.
When an accident occurs with liability on the side of the teenager, he or she should contact a top accident lawyer for representation.
