BAKERSFIELD, CA – Officers with the Bakersfield Police Department responded to a rollover collision that left multiple people in the hospital on Monday morning.
According to Bakersfield Now, police arrived at the scene at the intersection of Planz Road and Wible Road at about 2:18 a.m., where they discovered two vehicles rolled over after a crash.

Witnesses helped turn one of the vehicles upright before smoke began coming from the vehicle.
Fire crews successfully extricated two motorists from that vehicle, as well as another person from the second vehicle.
The preliminary investigation suggested one of the drivers sped through a red light before t-boning the other vehicle.
At this time, the extent of injuries and number of hospitalized patients remain unclear. If more information is made public, we will update this blog.
