Based on the preliminary investigation, it appears as though Bryant left the roadway at the intersection. As the vehicle began to roll, he was ejected. Police were able to determine that Bryant was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

The DeKalb County Coroner pronounced Bryant dead at the scene of the accident. The coroner has not determined if drugs or alcohol were factors in the collision. That determination is pending the results of the toxicology report.

No other vehicles appeared to be involved in the accident. Bryant was the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time of the accident. Witnesses of the accident are asked to come forward with any information they may have.

Alcohol is not the only cause of a rollover accident. Bryant could have experienced a defect in the operation of the vehicle which caused him to leave the roadway. Distraction is also a valid factor in accidents of this type.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the accident. More information will be available pending results of postmortem testing.
