On January 27th at approximately 2:15 pm EST, Reynold Cullman, 70, of Bridgewater Texas, was fatally injured in a motor vehicle collision that happened on Route 44, just West of Route 3 in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
First responders arrived at the scene of the accident where Reynold Cullman had driven his 2003 Pontiac minivan over the center median, into oncoming Eastbound traffic. Cullman struck a Dodge Ram truck towing a utility trailer, then crashed into a concrete barrier. The 59-year-old driver of the Dodge was not injured. It is not yet known why Reynolds was not able to maintain control of his vehicle.

Cullman was transported to Beth Israel Hospital in Plymouth where despite all life-saving efforts, he did not survive his injuries.
Troop D of the Massachusetts State Police is handling the investigation to determine the cause of the accident. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation assisted The Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section, Plymouth County State Police Detective Unit, and the Troopers Crime Scene Services Section at the scene.
The roadways were clear of snow and ice at the time, and visibility was clear. Route 44 is an extremely busy roadway, filled with more traffic each year and even more distracted drivers on their cellphones and other electronic devices. Updates will be provided regarding the cause of the crash as they are released.
