Investigators said Trapp was driving east on the highway just before 3 p.m. Monday when she crashed into another eastbound vehicle close to South Johns Avenue. The second vehicle, operated by Davis, and Trapp’s vehicle both were pushed off the roadway, according to a press release.
Trapp and Bryant, her passenger, were taken by ambulance to Valor Health Hospital after the wreck, investigators reported. Davis, meanwhile, was taken to Saint Alphonse Regional Medical Center in Boise.
Police, in the press release, said all three women were wearing their seatbelts when the collision occurred. The highway was blocked and traffic diverted for nearly two hours while investigators worked at the scene.
The press release did not state whether authorities believe intoxication, road conditions or other factors might have led to the wreck. The investigation into the incident continues.
